Crystal Torres

As Chief Development Officer for the Memorial Trust Foundation, Crystal provides strategic direction over the development of new alliances and partnerships for Downey Regional Medical Center and consistently strengthens relationships with community, corporate and individual donors, elected officials and board members. In addition, Crystal is responsible for overseeing Volunteer Services, DRMC Auxiliary, Marketing and Communications.

Crystal joined Downey Regional Medical Center in 2008. She previously held the position of Director of Development for White Memorial Medical Center where she was a member of the strategic planning group that launched a five-year $30 million capital campaign that exceeded the fundraising goal in three and a half years.

Crystal is the current President of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP)- Los Angeles Chapter. A respected leader in development, Crystal has been awarded the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AHP) Journal Award, the International Award of Excellence and the Philanthropic Services Institute Award of Distinction. Crystal is also a speaker and presenter at various fund development conferences throughout the nation.

Crystal received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of La Verne with a double major; Leadership and Marketing.
