New parents want to give their babies the very best and when it comes to nutrition, the very best food for newborn babies is breast milk. Breast milk is perfectly made to nourish babies and to protect them from illness. This class is for mothers that are considering breastfeeding.
The class focuses on how mothers and babies need to work together to get breastfeeding right, just as they need to learn to get to know each other, and develop their relationship. This class provides information for expectant parents to successfully breastfeed their baby and overcome common breastfeeding troubles. Classes are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Class is taught by Shirley Freberg, BSN, RN, and a Certified Lactation Consultant.
