Using the most advanced technology and instrumentation, the Downey Regional Medical Center Laboratory is able to help prevent disease by detecting unknown health problems and aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of existing conditions by giving accurate and timely test results.
The DRMC Laboratory is committed to performing advanced testing using the newest methodologies and providing exceptional patient care. The JCAHO has validated the overall quality by awarding the Laboratory with exceptionally high scores on their JCAHO accreditation survey for the past three surveys in a row.
Self and Directed Blood Donation at DRMC
Appointments for autologous/self donation and directed donations are available at Downey Regional Medical Center through the American Red Cross by calling 1-800-696-1757. Donation appointments are available on most Fridays 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and are limited to patients having procedures at Downey Regional Medical Center.
