Richard Yardley, Interim Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Richard Yardley is a healthcare financial executive with more than 25 years of experience in hospital-related engagements both in Southern California and nationally. Before joining Downey Regional Medical Center, he was with Medical Development Specialists and Belvedere HealthPartners, LLC, a small national healthcare consulting company that he co-founded.
Mr. Yardley was also the Corporate Chief Financial Officer overseeing the four-hospital system of United Western Medical Center (UWMC) in Santa Ana, California. He supervised and negotiated all details of the sale of UWMC to OrNda/Tenet, creating the second largest grantmaking foundation in Orange County.
Mr. Yardley holds an MSBA and BS from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he majored in Data Processing and Accounting. He is currently a member of the Hospital Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
