Kathy Foster, Vice President Compliance/Risk & Quality
As Vice President Compliance/Risk & Quality, Kathy Foster is responsible for risk and quality management, medical staff services, DRMC’s family practice training program, corporate compliance, case management, social services, and education, among other programs.

A member of the Downey Regional staff since 1978, Kathy initially worked as an RN in the surgical and intensive care units.  She has also served as Utilization Review Coordinator, Department Director for Medical Records, and Administrative Director for Clinical Data, Planning and Review Services.  She was promoted to her current position in March, 2009. 

Kathy earned a diploma in nursing from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing and has also completed certification with the American Health Information Management Association and the Institute of Medical Law.
