Heather Conwell, RN, MSN, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer
As Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Heather Conwell is responsible for overseeing the operations of the hospital’s nursing staff. She has been with the hospital since 1982, initially working as an R.N. in the Emergency Room. She was named Assistant Director of Nursing in 1987 and Chief Nursing Officer in 1989. She was promoted to Vice President in September, 2007.
Away from her position, Heather is or has been involved with a variety of activities, including serving as a director with the Downey Federal Credit Union and as chair of the Memorial Trust Foundation’s 12:15 Club.
Heather earned her R.N. from the Los Angeles County School of Nursing and her B.S.N. and M.S.N. from California State University, Long Beach. She also earned a B.A. from UCLA in 1971.
