Galen Gorman, Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of Downey Regional Medical Center, Galen provides leadership for all aspects of accounting, finance, budgets, reimbursement, billing, credit collections, patient registration, and financial strategic planning.

Before joining DRMC, Galen served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Galen has an extensive background in providing financial leadership in healthcare.

Galen holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Murray State University and attended graduate school at West Georgia University. Galen is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and belongs to a variety of professional affiliations such as the Hospital Financial Management Association, and was a member of the National Board Practices and Principles for HFMA.
