DRMC Cardiovascular Services is committed to providing patients with the best comprehensive cardiovascular care possible. DRMC cardiologists work closely with each other, hospital staff and physicians from other departments to provide patients with total cardiovascular care.
Cardiology Department
The DRMC Cardiology Department specializes in non-invasive diagnostic services such as: EKG, Holter monitoring, Echocardiography and several types of stress testing. The Cardiology department also maintains a Vascular Lab, Pacemaker Clinic and Neurology Lab.
Heart Center – Operating Room and Heart Catheterization Laboratory
Our Heart Center services patients needing diagnostic heart catheterization, coronary angioplasty, coronary stenting, rotational atherectomy and open-heart surgery. DRMC houses two advanced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories. The latest technology, combined with physician experience and personal touch, makes care at the Heart Catheterization Lab a success. The specialized staff of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and invasive cardiologists perform more than 1,000 procedures per year. DRMC also promotes a healing atmosphere in our 18-bed Critical Care unit, 54-bed Telemetry unit and the dedicated cardiac surgery suite.
Heart Catheterization Lab

The specialized staff of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and invasive cardiologists perform more than 1,000 procedures per year.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program utilizes the services of physical therapists, registered cardiac nurses and registered dietitians to provide progressive exercise and education for individuals with coronary atherosclerotic disease, whether it is post-myocardial infarction, post coronary artery bypass or angina. Personalized care helps to prevent de-conditioning, reduce fear and anxiety, reduce risks associated with activity and educate individuals and their families about cardiovascular disease.
